How Rely Credit Works

One request, read by many lenders at once; real offers back in minutes; a signature with exactly one of them — or with none. The complete walkthrough, stage by stage.

The entire process runs in five stages, and a prepared borrower commonly completes all five inside one business day. Here is each stage in detail — what happens, who controls it, and what makes it go faster.

Stage One: The Request (5 minutes)

The form collects four things: the amount ($500–$5,000), identity basics, income and its source, and the checking account that will receive funds. No documents are uploaded at this stage. Accuracy beats optimism everywhere — the details are verified later, and mismatches cost days. The application guide annotates every field; the eligibility page lists what the network expects behind each answer.

Stage Two: Matching (minutes)

Your request is transmitted to the network and read against every participating lender's criteria simultaneously — typically using soft-pull credit data that does not affect your score. Lenders who want your business respond with genuine offers: APR, term, and monthly payment, each offer independent of the others. Because underwriting at this size is largely automated, responses commonly begin arriving within minutes of submission.

Stage Three: Comparison (your pace)

Offers hold still while you think — there is no countdown. Read each on three numbers: APR, monthly payment, and total of payments. Benchmark against the rates guide's tier table, model any offer in the calculator, and check unfamiliar lender names on the comparison page. Choosing nothing is a legitimate outcome that costs nothing.

Stage Four: Verification (hours to a day)

The one lender you choose confirms identity, income, and banking — this is where the hard credit inquiry occurs, once. Documents staged in advance (photo ID, two recent pay stubs or equivalent, account numbers) turn this stage from days into hours. The lender may call or email with questions; fast answers keep the clock moving.

Stage Five: Funding and Repayment

After final approval, funds transfer to your checking account — commonly the next business day, same-day when verification clears before the lender's cutoff (the funding guide maps the exact timing). Repayment runs as fixed monthly installments to your lender, ideally on autopay scheduled just after your paycheck lands; most network lenders discount the rate slightly for enrolling. From funding onward, the relationship is entirely between you and your lender — Rely Credit holds no balance and takes no payment.

What Happens to Your Information

Your request is shared with network lenders for the purpose of generating offers — that sharing is the service. Rely Credit does not sell requests to unrelated marketers. The privacy policy states the practices in full, and the advertiser disclosure explains who pays whom and why.
